FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
The 2003-2003 school year begins: August 14th, 2003. It is very important for students to begin on the first day of school. Day 1 starters experience a positive, fresh start. Beginning on time can help your children to focus immediately on academics, school rules and boundaries, as well as increase their chances to bond with their classmates, peers, and school community.
Please help us to help your student have the best beginning of a school year ever! Remember August 14th !

Services and Special Programs
Nearly 70% of our students are transported with a short bus ride of 10-20 minutes. Breakfast and lunch programs are available to all students, as are health, counseling and library services. Title I, Special Services, Gifted and Talented Education, and English Language Learners' programs are in place. All students have access to and use of computers in their classrooms as well as in their school's computer lab. Our 21st Century Community Learning Center allows us to offer learning and technology opportunities for all ages at our BETS center during after school hours. The center is open to anyone in the community. Working together with the BHC Police Department and "Safe Schools" grants, we share School Resource Officers among our sites. Both the Bullhead City Parks and Recreation Department, and the Boys and Girls Club of the Colorado River, offer after school activities.
